Stand up for our veterans
​Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s government cuts are a disaster for Veterans and a slap in the
face to all who were brave enough to have served.
The abrupt layoffs of federal workers not only disrupts the lives of public servants, they also
threaten the stability of programs that veterans and their families rely on.
Trump’s own advisor, Alina Habba, said of the veterans who have been
fired - “perhaps they’re not fit for the job.”
If our veterans are not, who is?
Now, the Trump administration is planning to cut more than 80,000
jobs at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

We have to send a message that we won’t let it stand.
That’s why we’re collecting names to demand our elected officials
stand with our veterans. These cuts to the VA are a betrayal of
those who have served our country. New Jersey’s veterans deserve
better – they deserve our support. America made a promise to take
care of our veterans, and now it’s up to us to uphold that commitment
since the President will not.
We can’t turn our back on
those who have served our country.
